Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival . Upon arrival in Tribhuwan international, Himalayan Asia Treks team welcome and transfer towards hotel. Our team member will assist to you hotel check in process. After refreshing in hotel, introduce your guide and other staff and shortly brief about program. Overnight in on your selected hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu Exploration : Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar square.After taking breakfast, your guide will reach at hotel and transfer towards city tour. Today, we transfer Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey temple), Pashupatinath temple, and Bhaktapur durbar square. In mid time, your guide will take to best restaurant for lunch. Overnight on your selected hotel.
Meal: Breakfast.

Day 3Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) & Trek to Monjo (2,825m – 4 hrs).After taking breakfast, your guide will come at your hotel and transfer to domestic airport for flying Lukla. After reaching at Lukla airport, we start our trekking towards Mojno.
Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Everest Summit Lodge.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 4Trek to Namche Bazar (3,840 m - 5 hrs ).After taking breakfast, we start our trekking. We walk along the bank the of Dudh Koshi river and more small river where you can take experience suspension bridge laden with prayer flags. Today, we enter Sagarmatha National park from here we climbs steeply with amazing views. We reach Namche Bazar which is known as Gateway of Everest. Overnight in Yeti Mountain Home or Namche Hotel.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5Namche Bazar Acclimatization Day.Today, we stayed Namche bazaar full day for acclimation we walk around Namche Bazar. You can experience sunrise and sunset and breathtaking view of Khumbu peaks. Overnight in Namche Bazar.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 6Trek to Pangboche (3,930 m- 7 hrs).After taking breakfast, our trek continues along with glacier of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of snow capped peak. On the way, we pass Tengboche where you see local monastery. From Tengboche, the trails drop towards Deboche crossing Imja Khola and suspension bridge. After reaching Deboche, the trail climbs up Pangboche village. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge or a similar class hotel.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7Trek to Dingboche (4,350 m- 6 hrs).After taking breakfast, we start our trekking. Today we reached Dingboche which is traditional Sherpa village. From Dingboche village, you can see breath taking views of Lhotse, Island and Ama Dablam peak.
Overnight at the best available lodge with attached bath room and toilet.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 8Trek to Chhukung (4,710 m) and trek Back to Dingboche - 4 hrs.After taking breakfast, we walk towards Chhukung valley and explore valley and back to Dingboche. Today is also acclimation. In here , you will see amazing view of surrounding mountain and Lhotse southern part and return to Dingboche in evening. Overnight at the best lodge with attached.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 9Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m – 5 hrs).After taking breakfast, the trail continues towards Lobuche. On the way, we pass Khumbu Glacier, stone memorial of climbers and amazing view of snow capped view of Himalaya. Overnight in best lodge with attached.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 10Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) and back to GorakhShep (5,180 m- 8 hrs).After taking breakfast, we move towards Everest base camp which is your final destination of this trail. Today, we have to walk more and take more time to passing the trail. After reaching Everest base camp, we took some memorable snap and back to Gorakhshep. Overnight in Gorakhshep with best lodge.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 11Hike Up to Kalapatthar (5,555 m) early in the morning and Trek Down to Pheriche - 7 hrs.At early morning, we start our trek towards Kalapatthar. From here , we can see magnificent view of Everest which is highest peak of the world and other amazing view of Nuptse, Pumori, Chagtse, Lhotse and more peaks. We walk towards Pheriche. Overnight at Hotel Himalaya or Hotel Pumori.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 12Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,840 m- 7 hrs).After taking breakfast, we move towards Namche bazaar.
Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Hotel Namche.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 13Trek to Lukla (2,804 m- 6 hrs).Today is our last trekking day and reach Lukla.
Overnight at Yeti Mountain Home or Everest Summit.
Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 14Fly to Kathmandu. After taking breakfast, we fly towards Kathmandu and take rest in hotel. In evening, we will go for dinner with cultural program. Overnight on your selected hotel.

Day 15Departure.After taking breakfast, your guide will come to say bye and drop to airport.

  • How is Nepal?
    Nepal is landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of  China. It have highest peak of the world name Mt Everest (Sagarmatha) and eight peaks of the worlds ten highest peaks. It is birthplace of Gautam Buddha place name is Lumbini.
    Nepal is small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty eight meters. Nepal is divided into three part Terai, Hill and mountain regions.
    In here, the first language is Nepal (Devanagari script) and one hundred twenty three languages. The official language of Nepal is called Nepali.
  • Passport and Visa:
    First thing for travelling anywhere, you need valid passport with at least six months. You can obtain visa for Nepal from Nepalese consulates or on arrival in Kathmandu or other boarders or most reliable source of information is currently the Department of Immigration Nepal, if you fill online form and bring with you, then it would be easier to get visa in any Nepal boarder.
  • Weather: 
    Nepal’s climate varies with its topography and altitude. The low land Terai area has hot and humid climate that can rise above 40 degree Celsius during summer, middle region weather is pleasant almost all the year and northern region temperature is always cold.
    Nepal has four seasons:
    Spring: Mar-May: The temperature is good in this season and many flower blossom and best season for trekking.
    Summer:  (Jun-Aug): Monsoon season in Nepal, weather is hot and wet at times.

    We told all our clients to do travel insurance before leaving your home country. Their insurance must covered medical, personal accident, lost of gears, emergency evacuation, and damage or lost their luggage and etc.

    Himalayan Asia provides you minimum two star hotels or according to your choice in city area and lodge or Tea house in trekking route.. We always search and give to our client’s standard lodge with good environment which make your trip happy and healthy.
  • Food:
    We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine but during trek we eat from Nepalese menu especially Pasta, Mo Mo , soup items, Dal Bhat, tea, coffee etc. In trekking route, you will take dinner and breakfast in lodge and lunch will be along the way.
  • When is best season for trek and tour for Nepal?
    The best time to come is September, October and November and March, April and May.
  • Is it suitable trekking for me?
    If you are physically fit and love to walk then you can choose any trekking itinerary from our website to suit you. If you choose long day’s program, then you have t walk more days in mountain. All trekking program can see in our website.   We suggest while going trek, please took one professional guide and if you cannot carry your luggage then took one porter also.
  • Need any special equipment for Everest base camp trekking?
    In another column, you can find what you need to carry. Need to bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, trousers. Or you can buy in Kathmandu before starting trekking.
  • What will happen if get any emergency in the Everest base camp trekking?
    We suggest to all our clients do insurance before going trekking. If you have any problem, consult with your guide and he will give suggestion. In our office, one staff is available twenty four hours in phone call; you can call him/her.
  • Do I need permit before trekking in Nepal?
    For entering in trekking route, you need permit and TIMS card. For restricted area, you need special permit. You can discuss with our consultant.
  • Is Nepal safe and especially for single travelling woman?
    Absolutely, Nepal is safe for traveler. For woman and man, Nepal is safe. While going trekking, we suggest take one staff with you. If you go by yourself, you donot know right way and can missed way.

  • Hotel and Accommodation :
    We provide to our client in City area best Five star  and if available ,we we best hotel during the trek. A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of guest house and restaurant where rooms are normally decorated and available bed, pillow and blankets. In every trekking route, we provide only teahouse/lodge because there is no availability of deluxe hotel. 
  • Meals :
    The meal which is provided in trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights and our guide will choose restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic and each place special food. We recommended you to bring water purification tablets. 
     
  • Guide and porter in :
    We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two person.  One porter carries 20 kg .
     
  • Luggage/Bag pack :
    For main luggage, we will provide one porter for two person. We suggest you to make two bag pack for trekking. One is for you where you can put cash, mobile, passport, sun cream, water bottle or light things which you need every time and another one where you can put your clothes, spare jacket and other heavy items. In domestic airlines, they provide fifteen kg including your hand bag , excess weight is chargeable around USD one per kg.

  • Personal Expenses :
    Personal expenses means which is not covered your package column cost include. Normally, you have to pay for table drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages), snacks (on the trek), tips, souvenirs, hot showers and extra day if flight cancelled or any other natural disasters.
     
  • Group Size, guide and crew member :
    Himalayan Asia Treks organizing Everest base camp trekking single to maximum sixteen pax in one group. If we have more than sixteen pax , we split this group into more groups. If there are two or more groups, you can walk together and can stay in same lodge but guide and other staff will be different. Our crew member is government certified and experienced in trekking fields.
     
  • Join a fixed date group trek or private departure :
    During our establishment of company, we operate group joining, fixed departure and private basis. If you are single and planning to join our group, please check our fixed departure date or consult with our operator.
     
  • Insurance/Rescue/Evacuation:
    In trekking route , sometimes there was bad accident due to high altitude sickness or causality. If something is happen in trekking route or when you are in Nepal, you can contact with your guide or our office staff. We facilitate to our client spot to hospital by air or ambulance. We suggest to our client, please do insurance and forward to our company with your other document.
     
  • In event of flight delayed in/out Lukla :
    In Everest base camp trekking, you have to fly to Lukla so sometime flight will be delayed or cancelled for same day due to weather. Incase flight was cancelled or delayed , we can provide Helicopter service. The Helicopter charge is costly then by plane so , you should pay extra amount to us whixh is not included in our package.
     
  • Some do’s and do not’s  :
    Respect local culture and people.
    The Nepalese people are friendly and hospitalize by nature so you do not have difficulty to adjust in here.
    While you are entering in Temple, just check in some temple not allowed to enter for non Hindus.  If there is permitted to enter, please do not wear leather things and walk in Temple and Stupas clockwise. Before taking photograph, please ask authorized person for permission.
