Nepal Government has announced flight schedule to Lukla from Kathmandu has shifted from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion traffic in Kathmandu airport. The Ramechhap airport is located 130KM far from Kathmandu and approximately 4 hours driving.

 If you avoid flight from/ to Ramechhap to Lukla to Ramechhap then another option is Helicopter Charter for 5 people. Generally Helicopter charge is USD500.00 per person for one way. Helicopter charter service is not guaranteed. After confirmation your Everest Three Passes Trek, we will coordinate with Helicopter company for charter for your easy transport.

Day to Day Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will be standing with a placard of your name / Himalayan Asia Treks. Please look for it! After a reception at the airport, we will transfer towards the hotel and complete our check-in formalities. We will have a short briefing about the tour program. 

Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Accommodation: Three Star Hotel.
  • Location: Kathmandu.
  • Altitude: 1350m.

According to your flight schedule, we will drive towards domestic airport for taking flight towards Lukla. Flight to Lukla is adventurous and can see many snow-capped mountains. After reaching in Lukla, we start our first-day trekking towards Phakding. We will follow the Dudh Koshi river. The trail passes suspension bridges and bank of Dudh Koshi river.

Overnight in Phakding. 

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

  • Location: Phakding.
  • Altitude: 2650m.

After breakfast, we will follow Dudh Koshi river bank where we pass pine and oak forests, crossing suspension bridges. The trail passes through upstream on flat land, on the bank, to the junction point of the Dudh Koshi River and Bhote Koshi River. We get the most amazing splendid view of gigantic peaks -Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam Taweche and other snow-capped mountains. 
Overnight in Namche Bazar.

The Namche Bazar is also known as the gateway of Everest. Today is the first day of acclimatization in Everest Base camp Trek return by Helicopter. We will short hiking towards Everest View hotel/ Khumjung village. Acclimatization day is for trek high during days and sleep low during the nights.

After leaving Namche, we will follow Dudh Koshi River where we will experience the magnificent views of the mountain. The trail again ascends uphill towards Tengboche. We will walk through the lustrous Rhododendron forests. We will visit Tengboche monastery which is a sacred and biggest monastery in Everest Region where the Rimpoche (Lama Re-incarnation).

Overnight in Tengboche.

  • Location: Tengboche.
  • Altitude: 3860m.

The trail of today is uphill and downhill through Imja Khola. We will pass exciting suspension bridge over the Imja Khola and small villages from where we can experience local people's culture and their lifestyle. We pass Deboche, Pangboche and reached Dingboche.

Overnight in Dingboche.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse / Lodge.
  • Location: Dingboche.
  • Altitude: 4410m.

Today is the second day of acclimatization in the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek. We will explore Dingboche monastery. We will hike towards Nagerjun peak. From Dingboche, we can see a splendid view of Mt. Everest, Amadablam, Lhotse, Tawache, Nuptse, Kwangde.

Overnight in Dingboche.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse / Lodge.
  • Location: Dingboche.
  • Altitude: 5100m.

The trail follows frozen rivers with an icy wilderness of stunning beauty. We will walk uphill towards Dughla: a small village with garlands of prayer flags hung across the valley. From Dughla, we will descend towards Lobuche.

  • Location: Lobuche.
  • Altitude: 4910m.

Today is the awaiting day of the Everest Base Camp Trek return by Helicopter to reach the world’s highest peak base camp name Everest Base Camp. We will reach Everest Base Camp and take some snapshot through digital equipment for our memory and back to Gorakshep.

Overnight in Gorakshep.

  • Altitude: 5180m.

At early morning, we will hike towards Kala Patthar for seeing a 360-degree aerial view of Mt. Everest. Today is the last day of Everest Base Camp Heli Trek with keeping memories of Mt. Everest. After heading back from Kala Patthar to Gorakshep, we will fly back to Kathmandu by Helicopter.

After taking breakfast, our guide will pick us up from our hotel and start the Kathmandu City Tour. During the tour, we will visit most of the World Heritage Sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. After finishing the city tour, we will drop at Thamel for shopping souvenir for your family and friends. In the evening, we will enjoy a cultural program with dinner.

Nepal is landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of China. It have highest peak of the world name Mt Everest (Sagarmatha) and eight peaks of the world’s ten highest peaks. It is birthplace of Gautam Buddha place name is Lumbini.
Nepal is small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty eight meters. Nepal is divided into three part Terai, Hill and mountain regions.

Passport and Visa:

Best Time to Go Trekking in Nepal:

The best to do trekking in Nepal is September to November and March to May. December and January is also possible to do trekking but winter season so it would be cold and snowfall, we can suggest lower part of mountain trekking. We provide to our client in City area best Five star (above three star is on client requested) and best lodge/teahouse during the trek. A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of guest house and restaurant where rooms are normally decorated and available bed, pillow and blankets. In every trekking route, we provide only teahouse/lodge because there is no availability of deluxe hotel.

Meals Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek:

The meal which is provided in trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights and our guide will choose restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic and each place special food. We recommended you to bring water purification tablets.

Guide and porter Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek:

We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two person. One porter carries 14 kg .
