Day to Day Itinerary

Arrival at Kathmandu for the day 1 tour schedule. You will be welcomed at the airport by out representative and from there you will be transferred to the hotel, where you will be explained about the overview of the trip.

Today , we start off with chele to syanbochen for 6 to 7 hours. The trek for Syanbochen is going to be somewhat difficult and the reason behind it is that you need to cross two pass that is the Dajori and Taklam pass.

Today trek is from Syanbochen to Ghami for a comfortable 5 to 6 hours trek. The walking route will be somewhat steeply downhill to the small river and after some short period of time you will reach to Syanbochen. Overnight in Ghemi.

Ghami to Tsarang takes 5 to 6 hours. After completing your breakfast you need to walk downhill and you will also find slippery path till the Ghami Khola so you must be bit careful. The scenario along the trekking route is really very good.

  • Duration: The Short Upper Mustang Trek typically takes around 8-10 days, depending on your starting point and pace. This duration allows you to cover the major highlights of the region without the need for extended acclimatization.
  • Altitude and Acclimatization: The trek involves reaching high altitudes, so proper acclimatization is essential. It's recommended to spend a day or two in the village of Kagbeni (2,800m) before heading further up to allow your body to adjust to the higher elevations.
