Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,428ft).Arrival at Kathmandu for the day 1 tour schedule. You will be welcomed at the airport by out representative and from there you will be transferred to the hotel, where you will be explained about the overview of the trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trek PreparationAfter completing your breakfast the second days begins with sightseeing and then get ready for the trek preparation. The guide will also explain you about the history, art, tradition and religion of the people residing in Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m/2689ft): 5-6 hours.Next day drive form Kathmandu to Pokhara for 5 to 6hours. After reaching Pokhara you can have some shower and rest after which you can go for a walk along the Phewa Lake. At the same time you can also explore Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4Fly to Jomsom (2,700m/8898ft) and trek to Kagbeni (2,810m/9,216ft): 3-4 hours trek.Catch a flight to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni for nearly 3 to 4 hours trek. On the journey, you can walk along the bank of Gandaki River that is via Eklebhatti. Moreover, if you want to explore something more than you can visit Kagbeni, which is an old Thakali village. Overnight in Kagbeni.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5Kagbeni to Chele (3,050m/10,004ft): 5-6 hours.Thereafter, Kagbeni to Chele would be your next trekking route. Overnight in Chele.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6Chele to Syanbochen (3,475m/11,398ft): 6-7 hours.Today , we start off with chele to syanbochen for 6 to 7 hours. The trek for Syanbochen is going to be somewhat difficult and the reason behind it is that you need to cross two pass that is the Dajori and Taklam pass. Overnight in Syanbochen.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7Syanbochen to Ghami (3,520m/11,546ft): 5-6 hours.Today trek is from Syanbochen to Ghami for a comfortable 5 to 6 hours trek. The walking route will be somewhat steeply downhill to the small river and after some short period of time you will reach to Syanbochen. Overnight in Ghemi.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 8Ghami to Tsarang (3,620m/11,873ft): 5-6 hoursGhami to Tsarang takes 5 to 6 hours. After completing your breakfast you need to walk downhill and you will also find slippery path till the Ghami Khola so you must be bit careful. The scenario along the trekking route is really very good. Overnight in Tsarang.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 9Tsarang to Lo-Manthang (3,730m/12,234ft): 3-4 hours.Today of the long exciting trek tour, trek Tsarang to Lo – Manthang for 3 to 4 hours. When you reach on the top then you will really love to admire the Lo Manthang village from there. Moreover, you can also see Nilgiri Tilicho and Damodar Kunda. Overnight in Lo Manthang.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 10Explore Lo Manthang/ Acclimatization.Today trek begins with exploration of many incredible sights just like Lo Manthang and acclimatizes the entire condition of the nature. If you do not need enough rest then you can also visit nearby places of Lo Manthang. Overnight in Lo Manthang.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 11Lo-Mangthang to Drakmar (3810 m/12,500ft): 6-7 hours.Lo – Mangthang to Dakmar takes 6 to 7 hours. We will start our journey after completing our breakfast. After which we need to follow the trail to Gyakar village which is also a historical place and you can also see the beautiful mantras painted stones. Overnight in Dakmar.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 12Ghiling to Chhuksang (3050m/10,004ft): 5-6 hours.Next day you will head for Ghiling to chhuksang for 5 to 6 hours. The colourful and traditional village will be supreme attraction of the day. And your overnight stay is scheduled at Chhuksang. Overnight in Chhuksang.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 13Chhuksang to Jomsom (2,700/8,856ft): 6-7 hours.Chhuksang to Jomsom would take 6 to 7 hours drive. Here, you will like the similar scenario of the past days of your tour. But at the same time you can join the popular trekking trail that is the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Overnight in Jomsom.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 14Fly back to Pokhara.Today of this exciting tour fly back to Lake City Pokhara. After successfully completing two weeks in the Himalayan region, you must enjoy the day at Pokhara with variety of foods and drinks. Your overnight stay is scheduled at Pokhara. You can explore Pokhara and can go Chitwan for Jungle Safari Packages.

  • How is Nepal?
    Nepal is landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of  China. It have highest peak of the world name Mt Everest (Sagarmatha) and eight peaks of the worlds ten highest peaks. It is birthplace of Gautam Buddha place name is Lumbini.
    Nepal is small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty eight meters. Nepal is divided into three part Terai, Hill and mountain regions.
    In here, the first language is Nepal (Devanagari script) and one hundred twenty three languages. The official language of Nepal is called Nepali.
     
  • Passport and Visa:
    First thing for travelling anywhere, you need valid passport with at least six months. You can obtain visa for Nepal from Nepalese consulates or on arrival in Kathmandu or other boarders or most reliable source of information is currently the  Department of Immigration Nepal  If you fill online form and bring with you, then it would be easier to get visa in any Nepal boarder.
     
  • Weather:
    Nepal’s climate varies with its topography and altitude. The low land Terai area has hot and humid climate that can rise above 40 degree Celsius during summer , middle region weather is pleasant almost all the year and northern region temperature is always cold.     Nepal has four seasons:
    Spring: Mar-May: The temperature is good in this season and many flower blossom and best season for trekking. 
    Summer:  (Jun-Aug): Monsoon season in Nepal , weather is hot and wet at times.
    Autumn: (Sep-Nov): This is the best season for tour and trek in Nepal . In that time, weather is highly pleasant so are the mountains and himalaya. This is also season of festivals as Nepal celebrates the biggest festival Hindi name Dashain and Tihar.

  • Insurance:
    We told all our clients to do travel insurance before leaving your home country. Their insurance must covered medical, personal accident, lost of gears, emergency evacuation, and damage or lost their luggage and etc.
     
  • Accommodation:
    Himalayan Asia provides you minimum two star hotels or according to your choice in city area and lodge or Tea house in trekking route. In teahouse or lodge, you can found normal bed with pillow and blankets. We always search and give to our client’s standard lodge with good environment which make your trip happy and healthy.
     
  • Food:
     We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine but during trek we eat from Nepalese menu especially Pasta, Mo Mo , soup items, Dal Bhat, tea, coffee etc. In trekking route, you will take dinner and breakfast in lodge and lunch will be along the way.
     
  • When is best season for trek and tour for Nepal?
    The best time to come is September, October and November and March, April and July.
     
  • Is it suitable trekking for me?
     If you are physically fit and love to walk then you can choose any trekking itinerary from our website to suit you. If you choose long day’s program, then you have t walk more days in mountain. All trekking program can see in our website.   We suggest while going trek, please took one professional guide and if you cannot carry your luggage then took one porter also.
     
  • Need any special equipment for trekking?
    In another column, you can find what you need to carry. Need to bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, trousers. Or you can buy in Kathmandu before starting trekking.
     
  • Need any special permit?
    Yes, for doing trekking in Upper Mustang Trek, you need minimum two pax and need to stay in Kathmandu for taking permit of Upper Mustang area.
     
  • What will happen if get any emergency in the trek?
    We suggest to all our clients do insurance before going trekking. If you have any problem, consult with your guide and he will give suggestion. In our office, one staff is available twenty four hours in phone call; you can call him/her.
     
  • Do I need permit before trekking in Nepal?
    For entering in trekking route, you need permit and TIMS card. For restricted area, you need special permit. You can discuss with our consultant.
     
  • Is Nepal safe and especially for single travelling woman?
    Absolutely, Nepal is safe for traveler. For woman and man, Nepal is safe. While going trekking, we suggest take one staff with you. If you go by yourself, you donot know right way and can missed way. For going Upper Mustang , you have to join group. It is not allowed to go single. 
     
  • What do I need for trekking?
    -Day pack (rucksack)
    -Light weight and warm trousers.

    -Sun hats and gloves.
    -Full- sleeves t shirt.

    -Waterproof jacket, trousers and bag cover.

Note

  • Hotel and Accommodation on trek:
    We provide to our client in City area best three star (above three star is on client requested) and lodge/teahouse during the trek. A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of guest house and restaurant where rooms are normally decorated and available bed, pillow and blankets. In every trekking route, we provide only teahouse/lodge because there is no availability of deluxe hotel.
     
  • Meals:
    The meal which is provided in trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights and our guide will choose restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic and each place special food. We recommended you to bring water purification tablets. 
     
  • Guide and porter:
    We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two person.  One porter carries 20 kg .
     
  • Personal Expenses:
    Personal expenses means which is not covered your package column cost include. Normally, you have to pay for table drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages), snacks (on the trek), tips, souvenirs, hot showers and extra day if flight cancelled or any other natural disasters.

    Respect local culture and people.
    The Nepalese people are friendly and hospitalize by nature so you do not have difficulty to adjust in here.
    While you are entering in Temple, just check in some temple not allowed to enter for non Hindus.  If there is permitted to enter, please do not wear leather things and walk in Temple and Stupas clockwise. Before taking photograph, please ask authorized person for permission.
