Day to Day Itinerary

Meet by our Himalayan Asia Treks representative in airport and transfer to the hotel. Our representative assists to check in hotel process and give short brief about program. You can take rest and fresh. You can walk in evening in Thamel (tourist hub of Kathmandu).

After taking breakfast, transfer to airport/bus station. We take early drive/flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.). One can view green hills, beautiful valleys and some mountain views on the way. Pokhara is regarded as tourists’ paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples, etc. One can have pleasure to observe views of Phewa Taal (lake), Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Overnight in Pokhara.

After taking breakfast, we start our trek from Nayapul (1050m.). We would drive up to Nayapul from Pokhara. From Nayapul, we would trek to Tirkhedhunga (1577 m.) via Birethanti (1065m.) which takes about four and half hours.
Overnight in a Tirkhedhunga.

We trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.). Today we could ascend down gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, one could see majestic view of Machhapuchhre (6997m.), Himachuli (6441m.), and Annapurna South (7219m.).

At early morning, we hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m.) for seeing sunrise.. We cover the distance within five and half hours of normal trek. Early morning, we start our trip to Poonhiil (3180m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and numerous other snowcapped mountain peaks. Having breakfast at Ghorepani, trek to Tadapani (2650 m.) through the deep forests of rhododendrons, bamboos and oaks. En route, one can observe waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds and green valleys. Overnight at Ghandruk.

After taking breakfast, trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi (1113m.) which takes about four hours. The trail descends gradually for at least an hour and follows gravel road for two hours and then descend to Phedi passing through Dhampus village. Upon arrival at Dhampus Phedi, we take a vehicle to reach Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

 Breakfast in hotel, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus. After a normal drive of seven hours, we reach Kathmandu. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we head up to Damauli, Dumre, Mugling and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable Car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. One can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Weather:

The best to do trekking in Nepal is in September to November and March to May. Hotel/ Accommodation on Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek:

A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of a guest house and restaurant where rooms are usually decorated and available bed, pillow, and blankets. Our focus and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic, and each place exceptional food. We recommend you bring water purification tablets.

Guide and porter Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek:

We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two-person. One porter carries 14 kg.
