Meet our Himalayan Asia Treks representative at the Kathmandu airport (TIA) and transfer to the hotel. Our representative will assist in check-in at the hotel process. At early morning, transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to Lukla (2860m). This will take half an hour to reach Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla airport, your guide will give you another briefing regarding the trekking itinerary and introduce you to other staff as well. We will start our first day of the Everest Base Camp Gokyo Lake Trek descending towards Dudhkoshi River, from where we can join the main trail to Namche Bazar. Today, walking is easy. Passing a village named Ghat and after a short walk, we will reach Phakding. We will call it for the day here in Phakding.

We will start the Everest Base Camp Gokyo Lake Trek after a warm breakfast in Phakding. Today, we will walk through Dudhkoshi River, where we will encounter exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags frequently. View of snow-peaked Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m) will soothe our trail on enroute. The trail continues upstream to generally flat terrain, crossing back to the right bank, to the confluence of the Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi River. From here, trail ascents to the renowned town of the Khumbu region called Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is called the gateway of Mt. Everest.

Today after breakfast, we will acclimatize to the altitude and start off our hiking 3 to 4 hours climbing up from the Namche, up to 3,500 meters around the village. While we get acclimatized, we will get acquainted with the village as well. Traditionally, the village was a trading post, with locals bartering yak cheese and butter for agricultural goods grown at lower altitudes. The village also boasts three small museums, a stupa, monastery, several cafes (locally known as bakeries) and many well-stocked stores. Head back to the teahouse/lodge and get some rest.

Breakfast in the morning. Today, we will follow the route which follows the trails with ups and downs, displaying the magnificent view of snow peaks at Shanasa. Finally, we will reach our final destination of the day at a village called Dole.

Our destination today is Machherma. Today, our trek will be a comparatively easy and short one. From Dole, the trail descends to a stream and cross wooden bridge. Explore Machherma.

We start off our trek after a warm breakfast, with a climb at the ridge for an exotic view of Kangtaiga down the valley. The trails will follow Pangkha and descend to the river bank and pass a metal bridge. After 3 hours of walk, we are finally welcomed by Gokyo land. Around the afternoon, we reach Gokyo. We will explore Gokyo and walk up the hill behind for incredible views of the Ngozumpa.

Today, we will explore Gokyo, where we can enjoy the magnificent views around. We will move towards the fourth Lake of Gokyo. After an hour, we will move towards the fifth Lake of Gokyo. From the fifth lake, we can observe a spectacular view of Mt. Everest. After taking lunch, we will move towards Gokyo Ri. From Gokyo Ri, we can see a panoramic view of Gokyo. We can also enjoy the amazing view of Mt. Everest and other snow-capped mountains.

After taking breakfast, we move towards Thangna Kharka. From Gokyo, we will descend enjoying the incredible views of the mountains and landscapes. After 5 hours of walking the trails with upslope and downslope, we will finally reach Thangna Kharka. This is the base of Cho- La pass as well.

We will move towards Dzongla after breakfast. Today, we will hike through the fields and steeps easy but the probably snowy trail will lead to the summit of the south Cho-la pass (5380m) in 2 hours. Cho-la pass is a flat glacier plateau with magnificent views of the east and the west. Descending the snow-covered glacier to a beautiful glen will take us to Dzongla.

After breakfast in Dzongla, we will hike towards Lobuche. Today, we will trek only 3 hours so it would be easier. After reaching Lobuche, we can explore Lobuche and enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains like Nuptse, Pumori, Nirekha, Lobuche, Ama Dablam , Cholatse, etc.

After breakfast in the morning, we will move towards the Everest Base Camp (EBC). Today is one of the most memorable days of our life and in Everest Base Camp Gokyo Lake Trek as well. Three hours of uphill hiking and down trek on the glacier moraines extended from Khumbu icefall is an adventurous roller coaster. If it is a peak season of the expedition, we can see colorful tents at the base camp. Back to Gorakhshep.

Early morning, we will start our trekking towards Kala Patthar. After walking for three hours, we reach the top of the Kalapattar. This is the highest point, 5545m, we will ascend throughout the trek. Thus, we can expect a bit of strong wind here. Kala Patthar is one of the best locations for a wonderful view of Mt. Everest. After another amazing time, we will head back towards Gorakhshep and take some rest with a warm meal. We start our trek towards Pheriche with keeping memories of Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.
