Flight Information about Kathmandu and Lukla Everest High Passes Trekking:

For going Everest Region Trekking, we have to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla by small Twin Otter plane. Lukla airport is Nepal’s domestic airport and Himalaya region airport so there is no more facility like in other airport. In sometimes, flight will be cancelled or delayed due to mountain weather or some technical problems of aircraft. In that case, you have to pay for extra days bill in Kathmandu or Lukla. If flight cancelled and you have international flight in such case, 

Nepal Government has announced flight schedule to Lukla from Kathmandu has shifted from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion traffic in Kathmandu airport. The Ramechhap airport is located 130KM far from Kathmandu and approximately 4 hours driving.

 If you avoid flight from/ to Ramechhap to Lukla to Ramechhap then another option is Helicopter Charter for 5 people. Generally Helicopter charge is USD500.00 per person for one way. Helicopter charter service is not guaranteed. After confirmation your Everest Three Passes Trek, we will coordinate with Helicopter company for charter for your easy transport.

Day to Day Itinerary

Arrival at Kathmandu for the day 1 tour schedule. You will be welcomed at the airport by out representative and from there you will be transferred to the hotel, where you will be explained about the overview of the trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

On day one, wake up early morning as we are going to headed towards Airport for the scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla of duration of approx. 35 minutes. Lukla is a small town in the Khumbu region of Nepal and is popular place for visitors to the Himalayas. After landing at Lukla, you have sufficient time to explore the village, in the meantime our Sherpa crew sorts and loads the trekking equipments. Thereafter, the trek journey begins by descending towards the Dudh Koshi River where we will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar which is located just above Chaunrikharka. The walk is easy and there is a short walk to Phakding after passing through the small village of Ghat.
Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Phakding.

  • Altitude: 2610m.

On second day after breakfast, we will continue the trek along the banks of the Dudh Koshi, crossing this dramatic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. Thereafter, we will visit Sagamartha National Park, the trail will steep up with fabulous views. Namche Bazaar is popularly known as the Gateway to Everest and is home to numerous quality restaurants, lodges, hotels, shops, money exchanges, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole way of this Everest view trekking. Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

This day is the relaxing day in Namche Bazaar. As the acclimatization is also important to provide peaceful rest to the body, we will spend a day here and adjust to the thinning of the air along with a short trek to explore the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. Also visit two most popular and beautiful Sherpa villages viz. Khumjung and Khunde. The trail willl hike up the Syangboche Airport around Everest View Hotel. We can see spectacular views of the Himalayas with stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks from this point. Enjoy the view of snowcapped high peaks from here and capture this beautiful moment.

On fourth day, after having breakfast we will be headed towards Lukla from where the trek began. Short Nepal Information:

Nepal is landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of China. It have highest peak of the world name Mt Everest (Sagarmatha) and eight peaks of the world’s ten highest peaks. It is birthplace of Gautam Buddha place name is Lumbini.
Nepal is small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty eight meters. Nepal is divided into three part Terai, Hill and mountain regions.

Passport and Visa:

  • Autumn: (Sep-Nov): This is the best season for tour and trek in Nepal. In that time, weather is highly pleasant so are the mountains and Himalaya. This is also season of festivals as Nepal celebrates the biggest festival Nepali name Dashain and Tihar.
  • Winter: (Dec-Feb): This season is known as Cold season so it’s not good time for high altitude trekking time.

Best Time to Go Short Everest View Trek:

The best to do trekking in Nepal is September to November and March to May. December and January is also possible to do trekking but winter season so it would be cold and snowfall, we can suggest lower part of mountain trekking. We told all our clients to do travel insurance before leaving your home country with showing your travel itinerary. Their insurance must covered medical, personal accident, loss of gears, emergency evacuation, and damage or lost their luggage and etc.

Hotel/ Accommodation on Short Everest View Trek:

We provide to our client in City area best three star (above three star is on client requested) and lodge/teahouse during the trek. A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of guest house and restaurant where rooms are normally decorated and available bed, pillow and blankets. In every trekking route, we provide only teahouse/lodge because there is no availability of deluxe hotel.

Meals Short Everest View Trek:

The meal which is provided in trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights and our guide will choose restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic and each place special food. We recommended you to bring water purification tablets.

Guide and porter Short Everest View Trek:

We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two person. One porter carries 20 kg .

Personal Expenses Short Everest View Trek:

Personal expenses means which is not covered your package column cost include. Normally, you have to pay for table drinks (alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages), snacks (on the trek), tips, souvenirs, hot showers and extra day if flight cancelled or any other natural disasters.
