Day to Day Itinerary

Heartily welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, Himalayan Asia Treks staff is showing your Name or Himalayan Asia Treks signboard. After meeting with our staff, they will transfer towards Kantipur Temple House in Kathmandu. After finishing formalities hotel check in, we will introduce your staff and shortly brief about Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek.

Overnight in Kantipur Temple House.

After taking breakfast in hotel, we will take flight towards Lukla where you can see Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling Himal, Gaurisanker and other snowcapped mountain. After landing in Lukla, we will meet other trekking member and start hiking towards Phakding. From Lukla, we follow the Dudhkoshi River where you can take picture of Mani , Chortens and prayer flags with amazing mountain view. After reaching Phakding , we will take rest and discuss about tomorrow program and take dinner.

After taking breakfast in lodge, we will start our second day trekking towards Namche Bazar. Today also, we follow Dudhkoshi River. We will pass Banker, Chumow, some vegetable farm. After crossing some village , we will reach Monjo . We will take lunch in Mojno. After Monjo , the trail is desceding stone steps you come to a suspension bridge and short climb up towards Jorshalle. Monjo is the entrance points of Sagaramatha National park. We will cross a high , winding path and descend to the riverbed and reach a V – shaped valley. We will pass another suspension bridge and walking short distance alongside the Bhotekoshi and ascend towards Tup Dhara. From Tupdhara, you will first glimpse of Mt. Everest. From here, you will ascend gradually up to Namche Bazar.

Today is the first day of acclimatization of Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. After taking breakfast, we will do hiking towards Khumjung Village. From the viewpoints, you can see Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Ama Dablam . We will visit Khumjung and Kunde village and back to Namche Bazar. There is another place to visit is Namche Monastery which one is 80 years old and has beautiful Thanka paintings of Tibetan deities.

After leaving footstep , we will be back from Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazar.

After taking breakfast in lodge, we begin our trek towards Thame which will take around 6 hours. Today , we will the old trail which route is Tibet trade trail also. We will pass through a beautiful pine forest and typically Sherpa home. We will take lunch at Thamo where Ang Rita Sherpa who climb many times Everest without oxygen. After taking lunch, we will ascend gradually up passing a monastery where nuns and finally reached village of Samden. After passing Samden, we will descend down to the bridge and crossing Bhotekoshi River and reach Thame village which is our final destination of today.

After reaching in thame, you can visit Thame Monastery for evening ceremony also.

After taking breakfast, we will walk around Sumdur Peak. Firstly, we will visit Thame monastery which one located 200m above the village. The monastery was built in 14th century which is set on the southern slope of Sumdur Mountain under a very high rocky cliff. After back from monastery, we will take lunch and visit of legendry climbers home one is Tenzing Norge and Appa Sherpa. Thame is known as climbers home also.

After breakfast in Thamel lodge, we will be back towards Monjo. From today we are returning towards Lukla. We will follow the Dudhkoshi river trail before reaching Phakding. We will pass small Sherpa settlement village, tea house. Finally we reached Monjo .

Today is the last day trekking of Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. From Monjo to Lukla is around three hours walking. After reaching in Lukla , we will take lunch and sharing experiences about Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek with your crew members. From here, some of your crew member will be separate and can say bye bye.

Nepal is a landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of China. It has the highest peak in the world, named Mt Everest (Sagarmatha), and eight heights of the world’s ten tallest mountains. Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha place.

Nepal is a small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty-nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty-eight meters. Nepal is divided into three parts Terai, Hill, and mountain regions.

Here, the first language is Nepal (Devanagari script) and one hundred twenty-three languages. The official language of Nepal is called Nepali.

Passport and Visa:

The first thing for traveling anywhere, you need a valid passport with at least six months. You can obtain a visa for Nepal from Nepalese consulates or on arrival in Kathmandu or other borders, or the most reliable source of information is currently the Department of Immigration Nepal if you fill online form and bring it with you. It would be easier to get a visa at any Nepal border.

Weather:

Nepal’s climate varies with its topography and altitude. The low land Terai area has a hot and humid climate that can rise above 40 degrees Celsius during summer, middle region weather is pleasant almost all the year, and northern region temperature is always cold.

Nepal has four seasons:

  • Spring: Mar-May: The temperature is suitable in this season, and many flowers blossom and best season for trekking.
  • Summer: (Jun-Aug): Monsoon season in Nepal, weather is hot and wet at times.
  • Autumn: (Sep-Nov): This is the best season for tours and treks in Nepal. At that time, the weather is delightful so are the mountains and Himalayas. This season is also the season of festivals as Nepal celebrates the most significant festival Nepali name Dashain and Tihar.
  • Winter : (Dec-Feb): This season is known as the Cold season, so it’s not a good time for high altitude trekking time.

Best Time to Go Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek:

The best season to do trekking in Nepal is September to November and March to May. December and January are also possible to do trekking, but the winter season would be cold and snowfall; we can suggest the lower part of mountain trekking. The meal which is provided in the trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights, and our guide will choose a restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority to served delicious, hygienic, and each place special food. We recommend you bring water purification tablets.

Guide and porter Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek:

We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two-person. One porter carries 15 kg.

Personal Expenses Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek:
