Namche Bazar is like Khumjung /Khunde/Sherpa villages. After leaving Namche Bazar, we will follow Imja Khola with a spectacular view of Thamserku, Kangtega, Lhotse, Tengboche Monastery, Everest, and Amadablam mountains dominating the skyline ahead are the giants. After Namche Bazar, our destination is Thame which village is known as Climbers village. From this village, Tenzing Norgay and Ang Rita Sherpa climbed Mount Everest.

From Namche Bazar, we will take a Helicopter to reach Everest Base Camp /Kala Patthar. From Kala Patthar, you can see the 360-degree view of Mount Everest. After returning to Namche Bazar, we will trek from Thame to Monjo to Lukla to experience Sherpa's hospitality and unique culture and lifestyle.

Day to Day Itinerary

Heartily welcome to Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, Himalayan Asia Treks staff is showing your Name or Himalayan Asia Treks signboard. After meeting with our staff, they will transfer towards Kantipur Temple House in Kathmandu. After finishing formalities hotel check in, we will introduce your staff and shortly brief about Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek.

Overnight in Kantipur Temple House.

After taking breakfast in hotel, we will take flight towards Lukla via Helicopter where you can see Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling Himal, Gaurisanker and other snowcapped mountain. After landing in Lukla, we will meet other trekking member and start hiking towards Phakding. From Lukla, we follow the Dudhkoshi River where you can take picture of Mani , Chortens and prayer flags with amazing mountain view. After reaching Phakding , we will take rest and discuss about tomorrow program and take dinner.

After taking breakfast in lodge, we will start our second day trekking towards Namche Bazar. Today also, we follow Dudhkoshi River. We will pass Banker, Chumow, some vegetable farm. After crossing some village , we will reach Monjo . We will take lunch in Mojno. After Monjo , the trail is desceding stone steps you come to a suspension bridge and short climb up towards Jorshalle. Monjo is the entrance points of Sagaramatha National park. We will cross a high , winding path and descend to the riverbed and reach a V – shaped valley. We will pass another suspension bridge and walking short distance alongside the Bhotekoshi and ascend towards Tup Dhara. From Tupdhara, you will first glimpse of Mt. Everest. From here, you will ascend gradually up to Namche Bazar.

Today is the first day of acclimatization of Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. After taking breakfast, we will do hiking towards Khumjung Village. From the viewpoints, you can see Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Ama Dablam . We will visit Khumjung and Kunde village and back to Namche Bazar. There is another place to visit is Namche Monastery which one is 80 years old and has beautiful Thanka paintings of Tibetan deities.

After taking breakfast in lodge, we begin our trek towards Thame which will take around 6 hours. Today , we will the old trail which route is Tibet trade trail also. We will pass through a beautiful pine forest and typically Sherpa home. We will take lunch at Thamo where Ang Rita Sherpa who climb many times Everest without oxygen. After taking lunch, we will ascend gradually up passing a monastery where nuns and finally reached village of Samden. After passing Samden, we will descend down to the bridge and crossing Bhotekoshi River and reach Thame village which is our final destination of today.

After reaching in thame, you can visit Thame Monastery for evening ceremony also.

After taking breakfast, we will walk around Sumdur Peak. Firstly, we will visit Thame monastery which one located 200m above the village. The monastery was built in 14th century which is set on the southern slope of Sumdur Mountain under a very high rocky cliff. After back from monastery, we will take lunch and visit of legendry climbers home one is Tenzing Norge and Appa Sherpa. Thame is known as climbers home also.

Altitude: 4800m.

After breakfast in Thamel lodge, we will be back towards Monjo. From today we are returning towards Lukla. We will follow the Dudhkoshi river trail before reaching Phakding. We will pass small Sherpa settlement village, tea house. Finally we reached Monjo .

Today is the last day trekking of Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. From Monjo to Lukla is around three hours walking. After reaching in Lukla , we will take lunch and sharing experiences about Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek with your crew members. From here, some of your crew member will be separate and can say bye bye.
