Annapurna Siklis Trek -  Annapurna Siklis Trekking Package | Annapurna View Trek

Annapurna Siklis Trek is a picturesque trek in Nepal that unfolds the natural beauty of Nepal. Annapurna Siklis Trek route takes you to the region which is inhabited by the Gurung community upholding their age old customs and traditions. A final high point reveals magnificent views of the fish-tail peak or locally known as Machhapuchhre. The charming Siklis Village, intriguing patterns of terraced fields, rhododendron forests, high alpine meadows nestled below the towering mountains of Annapurna II and IV are some of the key features of Siklis Trek.

Annapurna Siklis Trek also offers bird lovers a real treat as there are varieties of species of birds which are found in abundance in the forests of the Siklis region. Siklis is the largest Gurung village in Nepal. There are stretches of terraced fields and neat slate roofed houses and friendly smiling faces in the Siklis trek. The trail of Annapurna Siklis Trek is easy and passes through oak and rhododendron forests, offering a grand view of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and Fishtail Mountains. You may have a chance to witness folk music or dance programs at campsites near local villages in the Siklis trek.

Siklis is famous for its very well maintained rustic flair and there are few better examples of a traditional Gurung village. Village lanes are narrow, these are flanked by stone and mud houses that are traditionally grouped in a ribbon. The village has five traditional neighborhoods Lama-Thar, Sabha-thar, Harpu-thar, Dhaprang-thar and Gairi-thar each bearing its own significance in the community. Annapurna Siklis Trek itself is not a difficult one allowing plenty of time to study the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on route. Some wonderful vistas of the Nepal Himalaya are also to be had.
