Take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.

Lukla is the starting point of the Everest Base Camp Gokyo Trek 17 Days. To reach there, we have two options - a long drive or a short but thrilling flight. We will fly, enjoying the excellent aerial views of the Himalayas. The thing that hype this 35 minutes flight to Lukla is the landing at the Lukla airport, which has got a short runway to land.

Explore the Namche Bazar

Namche Bazar is the tourist hub of the Khumbu region. Therefore, you will spend acclimatization day here. 

There are many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and museums in this village.

Cross Cho La Pass

To join the Everest Base Camp Trek, you must cross the Cho La Pass, which stands at 5,380 meters above sea level. Crossing this pass is strenuous and includes technical climbing. Reach Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar

Everest Base Camp is situated, at 5,364 meters, which is Mt. Everest, in the northeastern part of Nepal. As Mt. Everest is located in Nepal and Tibet, it has two base camps- the South Base Camp (Nepal side) and the North Base Camp (Tibet side). The south base camp is an easier way to scale Everest than the north one. This Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar are the geographical coordinates of the location of the south base camp- 28°0′26″N 86°51′34″E.

Pangboche Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries, built at the end of the 17th century. This monastery is situated at 3,985 meters in the Pangboche village. Legends say Lama Sange Dorjee built the monastery when he flew over the Himalayas and landed on a rock in Pangboche and Thyangboche. There are also footprints on a stone, which is believed to be his. Inside the monastery, you can see ancient statues, craving, paintings, and manuscripts.
