Hike around Shivapuri

The Shivapuri place form the northern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. The Shivapuri area provides much of the city's drinking water and the forests and high point of the ridge at 2732 m. This trek offers a stunning view of the city and its outskirts. Most of the route is through unspoiled old-growth forests of oak, rhododendron, and beech.
