Difficulties during Manaslu Circuit Trek

Altitude sickness

Altitude sickness refers to the group of the symptoms which will strike if you walk or climb to the upper elevation or altitude quickly.

Why does it cause?

The pressure that surrounds is named the atmospheric pressure . As you walk to the upper altitude, this pressure drops and there's less oxygen available.

If you reside during a place that's located at a high altitude, then you're more conversant in that pressure. But if you visit an area at a better altitude then you're wont to be, then you ought to be more prepared for it and your body needs time to regulate to vary in pressure.

Types

  • If possible, start below 10,000 feet and walk to high altitude rather than driving of flying. If you want to fly or the drive to an altitude over 10,000 feet, you want to occupy you initially stop for each day before getting to high altitude.
  • While walking at the upper altitude slow and steady is your key to avoid the hypoxia .
