Manaslu Circuit Trek Detail itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m).

Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.

After completing the early morning breakfast, Day 2 commences with your stay at Kathmandu for sightseeing in different places and preparing for the trekking. Today, you need to be ready for your upcoming tour.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola (710m/ 9 hrs).

Drive from Kathmandu to sotikhola for 8 to 9 hours. Only after few hours of walk through the village after reaching Arughat will you find green hills, rivers, and tows. Here you need to stay in a tea house at Sotikhola.

Day 4: Soti Khola - Maccha Khola (900m/ 7 hrs).

On day 4 of the trekking, you have to reach soti Khola to Macha Khola, which takes 6 to 7 hours drive. A bad thing about the place is that Soti Khola is the last point you can access through some vehicle.

Day 5: Maccha Khola -Jagat (1410m/ 6 hrs).

After completing your early morning breakfast, you will need to start your trek to Jagat. Moreover, you can expect some traffic jams on the trail, mainly due to the mules carrying loads on their backs. Maccha Khola to Jagat will take 6 to 7 hours.

Day 6: Jagat - Deng (1,804m/ 6 hrs).

Then the following day, drive Jagat to Deng for 6 to 7 hours. Several times you will cross the Budi Gandaki river that is either over the wood or from the suspension bridge. Moreover, you will also pass through the village like Philim and Ekle Bhatti.

Day 7: Deng - Namrung (2630m/6 hrs).

Day 7 of the grueling tour starts from Deng to Namrung for 6 to 7 hrs. Thus, after completing your breakfast, you will have to walk a certain distance and not mention it again that you will also have some spectacular view of the mountain.

Day 8: Namrung – Samagaon (3530m/ 6 hrs).

The next day drives Namrung to Samagaon, which is 6 to 7 hours. After reaching Samagaon, you will acclimatize for the day, but at the same time, you will also get an opportunity to explore the nearby places.

Day 9: Samagaon - Pungyen gompa - Samagaon: 6 - 7 hours exploration

Samagaon – pungyen gompa- samagaon usually takes 6to 7 hours of exploration. Typically, this trail is not only narrow but also steep uphill. Thus, it will be hard to walk along this trail. Hence, one is advised to start this hike earlier.

Day 10: Samagaon - Samdo (3860m/ 5 hrs).

After that, drive samagaon to Samdo you have to cover up by 4 to 5 hours. You can say that you can easily pass through the Mani walls, the prayer wheels, and the chortens which is along the trail without rushing.

Day 11: Rest Day in Samdo.

On day 11, there is a rest day in said. This day is entirely scheduled to get accustomed to the place so that you can easily enjoy the remaining days of the tour, an overnight in a hotel.

Day 12: Samdo - Dharamsala(4460m/ 4 hrs).

The next day drives Samdo Dharamsala/Larkya B.C for 4 to 5 hours. The trek to Dharmashala is short and easy, but there is only one tea house in Dharmashala. Hence, you can imagine the crowd during peak time.

Day 13: Dharamsala - Larkya La Pass(5160m] - Bimthang (3720m/ 9 hrs).

Dharmasala: Larkya la to Bumthang takes 8-9 hours. It is recommended to start the trek as early as possible to cross the Larkya La pass without any trouble. It has been noticed that the wind gets more vital during the day and thus it is essential to reach the marked poles to cross the pass.

Day 14: Bimthang - Tilije (2300m/6 hrs).

On day 14 of this trekking tour, it reaches Tillje from Bimthang for nearly 5 to 6 hours. The main attraction of Tilije is the Gurung village, which is a charming place if you want to spend your night there. Moreover, you can enjoy the traditional dinner at that place.

Day 15: Tilije - Tal (1700m/6 hrs).

Tillije to Tal you can reach by 5 to 6 hours drive. While on the drive, you can also enjoy the beauty of the place. If you are fortunate enough, then you will come across different types of birds and water bodies.

Day 16: Tal - Syange (1080m/7 hrs)

After completing your early morning breakfast, Day 16 begins with Tal – Syange and its cover-up within 6 to 7hours. The view from the outset is remarkable, and even more, its beauty cannot be defined in words.

Day 17:  Drive from Syange - Kathmandu: 8-9 hours.

Day 18: Final departure.
