Born in the historic, culturally rich city of Patan (Lalitpur), Nepal, Babu Shrestha was raised amid the vibrant Newari heritage and traditional crafts of this ancient city.
From a young age, Babu developed a deep affinity for Nepal’s natural beauty and mountainous landscapes. Inspired by local legends and seasonal festivals, he pursued a career in trekking and mountaineering in order to introduce visitors and adventurers to the real spirit of Nepal.
Today, Babu Shrestha is an experienced trekking leader who has guided numerous groups across multiple regions of Nepal:
