Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival. Meet by our Himalayan Asia representative in airport and transfer to the hotel. Our representative assists to check in hotel process and give short brief about programme. You can take rest and fresh. You can walk in evening in Thamel (tourist hub of Kathmandu). Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2Trek preparation and Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu. In the morning after breakfast, we introduced your trek guide / leader. It will provide an opportunity to know your guide/leader and can ask questions about treks. After discussing with trek guide/leader, we start sightseeing tour. We provide private vehicle and guide for city sightseeing tour, you have time to shopping for trekking gear.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
The Kathmandu Durbar Square is listed UNESCO and this complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between 12th and 18th Centuries, used to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. It is the place where kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnized. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages.
Kumari Temple:
Kumari temple is the residence of the living Goddess. Kumari, known as Virgin Goddess has got some specialties, she must be chosen from a typical Newari cast with nobody marks and injuries and will be replaced by another Kumari after puberty.
Kasthamandap is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree in the sixteenth century. Kasthamandap is situated near to the Kumari Temple. The name Kathmandu was named after this temple.

Patan Durbar Square:
The Patan Durbar Square is made in 1600s by Mall Dynasty and the royal palace of Malla kings. It is situated in the heart of Patan City, also listed in UNESCO heritage sites.The square, consists of enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. There are three main courtyards or chowks, so named central MulChowk, SundariChowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk in the square. The SundariChowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal bath called Tushahity.The Square also holds old Newari residential houses. There are various other temples and structures in and around Patan Durbar Square build by the Newar Community.

Day 3Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar to (820m)7 hrs and Dharapani((1860m).After breakfast, your trekking guide come in your hotel and drives to Besisahar (185km/7hrs). Our journey starts into the hills through the winding roads along the Trishuli River. Enroot we see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greenery, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain scenarios. Overnight in Dharapani.
Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 4Trek to Chame (2670m - 5 hrs). After taking breakfast, Similar walk the sufficient walk another days through the same valley hikes up to the eastern part of the river. We a cross with so many beautiful waterfalls and green pine forests on the way. After 2 hrs walk we can see close view of Mt. Annapurna II 7940m., Annapurna IV 7525m. Close to the head quarter town called Chame. Overnight in Chame.
Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5Trek to Pisang (3100m - 5hrs). After taking breakfast, start trekking Chame to Pisang we pass through Lamjung Himal (6893m). The mountain disappears as you climb the path up the valley, passing a huge apple orchard. From this point the valley becomes extremely steep-sided as you follow the path to Bhratang (2950m.). You can see the east peak of Annapurna II as well as Pisang Peak (6091m.) to the north-east. Continuing on, you come to a long Mani wall by a bridge and the lower village of Pisang. Overnight in Pisang.

Day 6Trek to Manang (3440m - 6hrs). When we are walking through Pisang, we can see good views of the Manang Valley, Tilicho Peak (7145m) and after descending we can see Hondge (3320m). From here we can see in north east side face of Annapurna III, Sabje Khola Valley, and Annapurna IV [7525m]. Large chortens and mani walls abound and the tall peaks of the Himalaya spread out before us - Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna [7455m] and, to the rear, Tilicho Peak [7145m]. Overnight in Manang.
Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7Aclimization on Manang rest day. Explore other old monasteries in Manang. From here we can see many high mountains and peaks called Annapurna II, Annapurna II and III 7555m, Gangapurna 7454m., Tilicho Peak 7134m, Manaslu 9156m., Chulu east 6059m and many more. Overnight in Manang.
Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 8Trek to Yak Kharka (4350m - 5hrs.). Now the trail ascends gently all the way to Yak Kharka passing through the Gunsang (3960m.) village. En route, you can see panoramic views all the day. Overnight in Yak Kharka.
Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 9Trek to Thorung Phedi (5416m - 3hrs). After Yak Kharka, we climb gradually to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi. After a short ascent up the mountain path on the right bank, you follow a narrow trail across an unstable spree slope and then descend to Thorung Phedi. Overnight in Phedi. Meal: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 10Trek to Thorung la pass-Muktinath (3850m - 7hrs). We start early today for your crossing of Thorung La [5416m]. The trail becomes steep immediately on leaving camp but as this trail has been used by local people for hundreds of years the path is well defined. The gradient then eases and after around 4 hours of steady climbing, you reach the chorten and prayer flags of the pass. The views are dramatic to say the least, from the snow-covered mountains above, to the head of the Kali Gandaki valley below and the brown and purple hills of Mustang which are spread out before us. The descent to Muktinath is a knee pounding 1600m but it's compensated for with excellent views of Dhaulagiri. Eventually the moraines give way to grassy slopes before a pleasant walk along the Jhong Khola Valley to Muktinath and its shrines and temple. Overnight in Muktinath.

Day 11Muktinath to Jomsom and visit Marpha village (2665m - 6hrs). After passing through Jharkot and Khingar, villages with typical Tibetan architecture, we follow the valley floor most of the way to Jomsom. Jomsom is sprawled along both banks of the Kali Gandaki and from here we get fine views of the Nilgiri peaks. We continue down to Marpha, a delightful Thakali village, with a well-planned drainage system. Its narrow alleys and passageways provide welcome shelter from the strong winds of the Kali Gandaki Gorge. Marpha is particularly well known for its apples, apple cider and apple, apricot and peach rakshi. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 12Fly/drive to Pokhara and Explore Pokhara. At early morning fly or drive to Pokhara. If you take flight, it will take 25 min. and if you use ground transport, it will take one day and can see more beautiful scenario with Kali Gandaki River. After reaching in Pokhara, check in hotel and fresh and drive to David’s fall, Gupteswor cave. You have free time for your own activities like Paragliding, Bunjy jump, Zip flyer and more. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 13Drive/ fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Meal: breakfast and dinner.

  • How is Nepal?
    Nepal is landlocked country located between India and Tibet autonomous region of  China. It have highest peak of the world name Mt Everest (Sagarmatha) and eight peaks of the worlds ten highest peaks. It is birthplace of Gautam Buddha place name is Lumbini.
    Nepal is small country but tremendous geographic diversity. It rises from Fifty nine meters to eight thousand eight hundred forty eight meters. Nepal is divided into three part Terai, Hill and mountain regions.
    In here, the first language is Nepal (Devanagari script) and one hundred twenty three languages. The official language of Nepal is called Nepali.
  • Passport and Visa:
    First thing for travelling anywhere, you need valid passport with at least six months. You can obtain visa for Nepal from Nepalese consulates or on arrival in Kathmandu or other boarders or most reliable source of information is currently the Department of Immigration Nepal, if you fill online form and bring with you, then it would be easier to get visa in any Nepal boarder.
  • Weather: 
    Nepal’s climate varies with its topography and altitude. The low land Terai area has hot and humid climate that can rise above 40 degree Celsius during summer, middle region weather is pleasant almost all the year and northern region temperature is always cold.

    Nepal has four seasons:
    Spring: Mar-May: The temperature is good in this season and many flower blossom and best season for trekking.
    Summer:  (Jun-Aug): Monsoon season in Nepal, weather is hot and wet at times.
    Autumn: (Sep-Nov): This is the best season for tour and trek in Nepal. In that time, weather is highly pleasant so are the mountains and Himalaya. This is also season of festivals as Nepal celebrates the biggest festival Hindi name Dashain and Tihar. For more detail about Nepal Weather:
  • Currency:

  • Insurance:
    We told all our clients to do travel insurance before leaving your home country. Their insurance must covered medical, personal accident, lost of gears, emergency evacuation, and damage or lost their luggage and etc.
  • Accommodation:
    Himalayan Asia provides you minimum two star hotels or according to your choice and lodge or Tea house in trekking route. In teahouse or lodge, you can found normal bed with pillow and blankets. We always search and give to our client’s standard lodge with good environment which make your trip happy and healthy.
  • Food:
    We have a lot of restaurants with different cuisine but during trek we eat from Nepalese menu especially Pasta, Mo Mo , soup items, Dal Bhat, tea, coffee etc. In trekking route, you will take dinner and breakfast in lodge and lunch will be along the way.
  • When is best season for trek and tour for Nepal?
    The best time to come is September to May. If you come in Autumn and spring season , then best time for trekking also.
  • Is it suitable trekking for me?
    If you are physically fit and love to walk then you can choose any trekking itinerary from our website to suit you. If you choose long day’s program, then you have  walk more days in mountain. All trekking program can see in our website.   We suggest while going trek, please took one professional guide and if you cannot carry your luggage then took one porter also.
  • Need any special equipment for trekking?
    In another column, you can find what you need to carry. Need to bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes, trousers. Or you can buy in Kathmandu before starting trekking.
  • What will happen if get any emergency in the trek?
    We suggest to all our clients do insurance before going trekking. If you have any problem, consult with your guide and he will give suggestion. In our office, one staff is available twenty four hours in phone call; you can call him/her.
  • Do I need permit before trekking in Nepal?
    For entering in trekking route, you need permit and TIMS card. For restricted area, you need special permit. You can discuss with our consultant.
  • Is Nepal safe and especially for single travelling woman?
    Absolutely, Nepal is safe for traveler. For woman and man, Nepal is safe. While going trekking, we suggest take one staff with you. If you go by yourself, you donot know right way and can missed way.
  • What do I need for trekking?
    -Day pack (rucksack)
    -Light weight and warm trousers.
    -Sun hats and gloves.
    -Full- sleeves t shirt.
    -Warm jackets.
    -Waterproof jacket, trousers and bag cover.
    -Light weight cotton clothing.
    -Waterproof or windcheater jacket.
    -Knee supports.
    -Sun glasses.
    -Sun cream and lip protector.
    -A one liter hard Water bottle.
    -Flash light
    -Down jacket, sleeping bag (trekking)
    -Trekking shoes or boots.
    -A pair of sandals.



  • Hotel and Accommodation on trek:
    We provide to our client in City area best three star (above three star is on client requested) and lodge/teahouse during the trek. A Teahouse/lodge is the combination of guest house and restaurant where rooms are normally decorated and available bed, pillow and blankets. In every trekking route, we provide only teahouse/lodge because there is no availability of deluxe hotel.
  • Meals:
    The meal which is provided in trekking area is included breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide breakfast and dinner where you stay overnights and our guide will choose restaurant for lunch on the way. Our guide and other staff always give priority t served delicious, hygienic and each place special food. We recommended you to bring water purification tablets. 
  • Guide and porter:
    We provide you best staff to you who have good experience and government license. In a group, we provide one guide till 16 pax and one porter for each two person.  One porter carries 20 kg .
  • Personal Expenses:
    Personal expenses means which is not covered your package column cost include. Normally, you have to pay for table drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages), snacks (on the trek), tips, souvenirs, hot showers and extra day if flight cancelled or any other natural disasters.
  • Some do’s and do not’s :
    Respect local culture and people.
    The Nepalese people are friendly and hospitalize by nature so you do not have difficulty to adjust in here.
    While you are entering in Temple, just check in some temple not allowed to enter for non Hindus.  If there is permitted to enter, please do not wear leather things and walk in Temple and Stupas clockwise. Before taking photograph, please ask authorized person for permission.

We planned did trekking in Nepal but so confused to choose best company in Nepal. So I talked with my friend who already went Nepal for Trekking. He suggested to me to contact with Himalayan Asia Treks. Then I talked with Himalayan Asia Treks where I found Mr. Amrit. He suggested me to do Round Annapurna Circuit . I am little bit worried how can I found in airport but they know me. We start trek with guide Mr. Shanker. He was fantastic guy with more knowledge and helpful. In last, we found Himalayan Asia Treks management was very good. I recommended these guys always.
