The first essential thing for Nepal Himalaya Trekking is Permit and TIMS. Suppose you are planning independent trekkers and need TIMS and Permit. Nepal Himalaya Trekking Cost differs from one company to another for the same packages because of service and trekkers. If you book through a Local Trekking Company in Nepal, that would be cheaper than an international Trekking company. Generally, I suggest booking through local trekking companies and using local staff because if local people survive, they can preserve Nepal Himalaya, unique culture, and environment. If you book through a local trekking company, they will charge you USD60-USD80.00 per day for meal, accommodation, guide & porter, and have to pay extra for internal flight, transport. If you want to do trekking alone or independent trekkers, please manage the budget per day around USD30+ for food & accommodation.

Independent Trekking in Nepal Himalaya

Those who are fit and able to carry their equipment and good can do Independent Trekking in Nepal Himalaya. Everest Trekking Packages and Annapurna Trekking Packages are mostly famous trekking regions for independent Trekking in Nepal Himalaya. However, the restricted area is not allowed to do trekking solo or single, without guide & porter and help of Trekking Company in Nepal. Therefore, we suggest easy and Medium Trekking Packages in Nepal for Independent Trekking in Nepal Himalaya. Still, high-risk trekking packages in Nepal are indicated with an experienced guide and porter.

Note: Besides the Specialized Trekking region in Nepal, We always suggest book trekking packages in Nepal because they update your status daily through a guide and porter. If you are going to independent trekking, then inform anyone staying in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Accommodation in Nepal – Lodges in Nepal Himalaya Trekking

Lodges are available in most trekking regions like Everest, Annapurna, Mustang, Manaslu, Tsum Valley, and other famous trekking regions in Nepal. Lodges are small, but adequate twin-bedded rooms and beds tend to be reasonably challenging, and the dividing walls hardly provide boudoir –expect a lot of communal interaction.

Everest Region has different categories of lodges. Generally, the costs of Everest Region Lodges are starting from USD10.00 to USD200.00. There are many low-cost lodges with hygienic and limited service and luxurious hotels operated by Yeti Homes in a restricted area. In other regions, there are other regions like Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, Dolpo, and other popular sites. In addition, some Trekking Region offers homestay where you can stay in local people's home where you can explore the local people culture and lifestyle.

Food in Nepal Himalaya Trekking

The food in Nepal Himalaya Trekking is available in particular distance restaurants but do not expect to be carving for variety. Across most of the region covered, there is no need for lodge trekkers to eat dal anymore. Generally, the restaurant provides breakfast, including porridge/cereal, bread/toast with eggs, and tea or coffee. Lunch is available for meat/fish, noodles, momo, or Dal Bhat. Finally, the restaurant provides soup, noodles/pasta/rice/potatoes, dessert, and seasonal fruits on the dinner menu. Dehydration is the main problem, so drink plenty of pure water with purifying.
